C is for Chamomile:
Chamomile (and its essential oil) is one of the most soothing herbs and safe to use on sensitive skin and babies*. Today, I’ll be sharing with you a recipe to your tiered, over-used, starring at the screen eyes ๐
This recipes helps relax your eyes, improved dark circles and reduced puffiness.
Place a handful of chamomile in a 1/2 litre of water (cold). Heat the mixture.
Remove from the heat just before the water boils.
Cover the pot and leave the mixture to cool for 15 mins.
Strain the mixture to remove the chamomile petals and (of course) keep the water part, chamomile tea.
To apply this soothing eye mask : soak two cotton balls in the cooled chamomile tea, squeeze any excess (you don’t want it to be dripping all over the place ๐) . Gently place the cotton balls on each eye and relax for 10 minutes.
Please never use any essential oils on babies less than 15 months to two year.
